This page is about Grace and Second Chances:
Because of Grace we met in church (always a good sign). Jim Ramsey was the thoughtful surfer that grew and never hit the gangly teen-age years. Helen was the youngest child prone to kicking the ankles of anyone who didn’t like her father’s sermons. (still will )
Because of Grace “the surfer” and “the kicker” met again 39 years later, although looking back, their paths crossed several times, but, like seekers in a revolving door, they passed each other. It was as if God slapped his forehead, “I-coulda-had-a-V8″-style with every failed attempt.
But, Because of Grace, Grace-Ann Jackson to be exact, Jim asked for Helen’s email address and began to write. And they wrote and wrote and talked and talked and found out that it is never too late to cultivate a marriage the way it is meant to be …
You guessed it…Because of Grace!

I am so proud of the two of you! Didn’t get to speak to you at the choral reunion but saw you on your way out the door.
Chuck and I celebrated 51 years together, the first two were in college at Ohio State and it was real tough but we survived. Just remember it can be very lonely when you lose your mate so take good care of each other whle you still have them around. Ann sent me your latest blog and I loved every one of them!
